Cucumber Yogurt Sauce

A Greek inspired yogurt based sauce that can easily be tweaked to suit what you serve it with. Some variations include adding fresh dill or fresh mint, a bit of lemon juice, minced fresh garlic or roasted garlic.
Ingredients
- 1 cup 2% plain Greek yogurt shopping list
- 1/2 tsp oregano shopping list
- 1/2 tsp garlic salt shopping list
- 1/2 cup english cucumber, thinly sliced shopping list
- 2 tbsp scallions, sliced shopping list
- 1 tbsp lemon zest shopping list
- black pepper to taste, freshly ground shopping list
How to make it
- Combine ingredients and stir well. Cover and refrigerate for several hours to allow flavors to blend. Stir before serving.
