How to make it

  • Open Clam cans and drain into a bowl. Juice a lemon and add to same bowl, Stir well. Start boiling water for your noodles.
  • Start off by slicing and quarting your onions. Saute with olive oil in a skillet till lightly browned. Crush your garlic into the sauted onions. Add your seasonings except for salt then1/2 the lemon-clam juice See Photo. Cover and cook for 10 min on low simmer stirring occasionally.
  • Uncover and add Clams to skillet along with remaining clam-lemon juice See Photo. Cook uncovered for 10 more min stirring frequently. At this point you should add your noodles to boiling water. Last 5 minutes of cooking add your salt to the skillet.
  • Serve with Parmesan cheese mixed into the pasta.
