Tex-mex Grilling Rub

- 1/4 c kosher salt shopping list
- 2 TB. brown sugar shopping list
- 1 tsp ground black pepper shopping list
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper shopping list
- 1 tsp cumon shopping list
- 1 tsp paprika shopping list
- 1 tsp garlic powder shopping list
- 1/2 tsp onion powder shopping list
How to make it
- In blender or spice grinder,grind all the ingredients together. Store in sealed jar..Makes 1/2 c
- In general dry rubs are directly applied to meat or seafood. You can also use them as wet rubs. Mix a portion of the dry mix with a bit of olive or canola oil and rub into meat.

This was too salty for my taste. I think it needs to be cut in half. A bit more in IMI. 9/18/16
