Ingredients

How to make it

  • Combine all ingredients - except meat -in Ziploc bag( I always use the plastic bags provided by the grocery store in the veggie isles) and mix well
  • Add chops making sure meat is covered well
  • Chill several hours, turning meat occasionally. (I did mine for 24 hours)
  • Drain meat, reserving marinade for basting
  • I grilled mine with the grill at 600 degrees for 4 minutes each side for rare-medium rare.
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Yummy! :-) I let these marinade a full 24 hours and for me, the marinade gave a dark outside color along with the wonderful flavor. We charred 'em on the outside and left 'em medium rare on the inside. Nice smokey flavor blended with the marinade flavors. Thanks for a great recipe, sir! More, here: Grilled Venison Chops

A co-worker gave me a small venison steak and I remembered you posted this. Cut the recipe in half and marinated my steak for only 3 hours or so because I like the taste of venison. This added a nice flavor to the meat, but not too overpowering, and the meat was nice and tender. Cooked this in my cast iron grill pan. Added a picture, too. Thanks! :)
