Slow Cooker Saucy-ges

- 8-10 Polish or German sausages(make sure they have a casing of some sort, or you will end up with tomato/sausage stew ;) shopping list
- 26oz lightly flavored marinara sauce(you are going for tomato-y, not Italian-y.... a lil spice is fine, but stay away from the heavily flavored ones, if you are buying it from a jar) shopping list
- 1/4 cup German mustard(whole grain, if possible) shopping list
- 2 bell peppers, sliced shopping list
- 2 medium onions, sliced in rings shopping list
- 8-10 slices provolone or muenster cheese shopping list
- 8-10 hot dog style rolls shopping list
How to make it
- Place sausages in bottom of slow cooker.
- Top with green peppers, onions, and mustard.
- Add pasta sauce
- Cook on low power for about 4-6 hours, or until sausages are done and sauce is bubbly.
- Place a slice of cheese in bottom of each bun. Top with a sausage, then green peppers and onions, and sauce.
- *I forgot to add the cheese before taking the pics, then, when I DID add it, they were too sloppy to retake. :)
