A tasty butter to use on the morning on pancakes, french toast , waffles or toast.

Ingredients
  • 2 teaspoons instant coffee
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 2 sticks unsalted butter, softened

Directions
  1. Stir the instant coffee into the syrup in a
  2. heatproof glass measuring cup.
  3. Heat in the microwave until hot (a minute or two).
  4. Stir until the coffee is dissolved.
  5. Cool and chill until cold.
  6. Whip the butter in the food processor or with an electric mixer.
  7. Drizzle in the maple-coffee mixture and whip until the mixture is smooth and fluffy.
  8. Spread onto hot waffles, pancakes, bagels, English muffins, toast, or bread.
