How to make it

  • Combine all dry ingredients including sugar
  • Combine all wet ingredients( and banana ) and beat well to combine
  • Combine both mixture and beat long enough to combine smooth
  • Grease and flour a 9 x 5 x 3 inch pan
  • Place half batter in pan.
  • With a spoon drop Nutella here and there over batter
  • Cover with other half of batter
  • Use a knife to swirl through batter
  • Bake middle oven rack 350F for 45- 60 minutes or tested done in center with a toothpick
  • If browning to fast, either cover with a foil tent or lower heat to 325F to finish baking
  • Yield one large loaf with nicely cracked top
  • When cool, wrap in foil overnight
  • Note: Nutella will be scattered here in there when loaf is sliced rather than marbled

    Well, I love bananas with Nutella so I knew this would be good. I left out the lemon extract this time around. Made it for a neighbor friend who recently lost her mother to bring some sweetness to her day and she really appreciated & enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing this recipe! I'll be making it again.

    I recently heard of and tasted Nutella. Loving chocolate and peanut butter I cant believe I never heard of it. This in banana bread sounds great. Thanks for sharing
