How to make it

  • The custard can be prepared a couple of hours before or a day before. In a sauce pan, mix all the ingredients and bring it to medium heat. Keep on stirring until the milk get thick and simmer for 3min. Turn of the heat and stir every 10min for half an hour then put it in a fridge for an hour to cool.
  • For the batter: Mix all the ingredients and strain through a fine sieve. Cover and set aside in a warm place for 40min. When the batter is ready, heat non-stick pan and start to make mini pancakes. For each pancake use 1/4 cup batter See Photo. When the pancake has cooled, using your hand pinch together halfway, fill it with custard using plastic bag See Photo. Top with ground nuts(optional) and serve with syrup.
