- For Batter: shopping list
- 1tsp sugar shopping list
- 1tsp yeast shopping list
- 2c warm water shopping list
- 2c flour shopping list
- 2Tbsp semolina shopping list
- 2Tbsp milk powder(optional) shopping list
- 1/2tsp rose water shopping list
- For Custard: shopping list
- 2c whole milk shopping list
- 1c heavy milk shopping list
- 6Tbsp corn starch shopping list
- 2tsp rose water shopping list
- 1c syrup shopping list
- ground pistachios(optional) shopping list
How to make it
- The custard can be prepared a couple of hours before or a day before. In a sauce pan, mix all the ingredients and bring it to medium heat. Keep on stirring until the milk get thick and simmer for 3min. Turn of the heat and stir every 10min for half an hour then put it in a fridge for an hour to cool.
- For the batter: Mix all the ingredients and strain through a fine sieve. Cover and set aside in a warm place for 40min. When the batter is ready, heat non-stick pan and start to make mini pancakes. For each pancake use 1/4 cup batter See Photo. When the pancake has cooled, using your hand pinch together halfway, fill it with custard using plastic bag See Photo. Top with ground nuts(optional) and serve with syrup.
