Ingredients

How to make it

  • In a large bowl stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, soda and salt.
  • In a small bowl mix well orange peel, juice, oil and egg;
  • Stir in flour mixture until moistened.
  • Stir in raisins and nuts.
  • Spread in well greased 9x5 loaf pan.
  • Bake in pre-heated, 350 degree oven for 50 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  • Cool and remove from pan.
  • This bread is great served with either Orange Honey Butter or Cream Cheese...Enjoy! :)

    Finally found what I was looking for and will be making this tomorrow -- home-bound due to toothache so why not munch on something I don't really need to chew! Thanks for the receipe.

    This sounds wonderful with Coffee or Tea. I am a coffee drinker but my new addiction is tea and oranges, lol.
