Popped Wild Rice

- 2 to 3 tablespoons corn oil or vegetable oil shopping list
- 1 cup uncooked wild rice shopping list
- 1/4 cup melted butter shopping list
- 2 tablespoons maple sugar or maple syrup shopping list
- salt to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Place oil in a 12-inch, heavy-bottomed skillet over medium heat. Add a layer of
- rice and swirl over medium heat until the kernels pop. Toss with butter, sugar
- and salt.
- Makes about 2 cups.
