Ingredients
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons corn oil or vegetable oil
  • 1 cup uncooked wild rice
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons maple sugar or maple syrup
  • Salt to taste

Directions
  1. Place oil in a 12-inch, heavy-bottomed skillet over medium heat. Add a layer of
  2. rice and swirl over medium heat until the kernels pop. Toss with butter, sugar
  3. and salt.
  4. Makes about 2 cups.
