How to make it

  • Line a loaf pan with parchment, making sure to cover all sides.
  • In a microwave safe dish, melt candy corn, checking and stirring frequently.
  • Immediately stir in the nut butter and cereal until fully combined.
  • Press mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan and cool completely, about 1 hour. See Photo
  • Remove from pan and cut into bars.
  • Dip bars in the chocolate to evenly coat.

    Jo, how much liquid does 1 1/2c candy corn turn in to when melted? I used a home made candy corn recipe to use in this recipe to keep from having to buy candy corn from the store and used 1 1/2c liquid candy corn which I fear was too much for this recipe.

    BEYOND awesome post! I really like the idea of trying different cereals for filler, trader joe's vanilla almond clusters comes to mind.
