I got these from "The Naked Chef" on the BBC, and they are heavenly!! Also, their easy, and kid friendly, just dig in and mix with your hands!

Ingredients
  • 2 lbs. minced beef, preferably organic
  • 2 medium red onions, finely chopped
  • 2 eggs
  • 1-2 handfuls of fresh breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp coriander seeds, crushed
  • 1 small pinch of cumin seeds, crushed
  • 1 heaped tsp of Dijon mustard
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
  2. Mix all ingredients together, use bread crumbs as needed to bind and lighten the mixture.
  3. Divide into 4 equal chunks and shape into round balls.
  4. Place in oven on non-stick sheet for 25-30 minutes, this should make the middle slightly pink and the outside crispy.
  5. Serve on a griddled bun with pickles and ketchup

I knew when I found this recipe, I had to share! They are good aren't they?!? :)

These sound really good ~ I love your picture too. Can you share what kind of buns you used for the pic? They look really tasty as well ;)

Since this came from the Naked Chef on the BBC, his only suggestion for the bun was a "griddled bun." I have no idea what kind, I only know that it means the bun is grilled...
