How to make it

  • Melt butter and pour into a large 9 inch or 10 inch pan ( I used the 10 inch square pan )
  • Mix the eggs , milk and vanilla with a whisk to combine well
  • Add the flour, sugar and baking powder and stir well to combine
  • Do not over mix
  • Pour this onto the melted butter and do not stir or mix
  • Place berries evenly over the top but do not mix in ( they will fall to the bottom when baking )
  • Bake in a preheated 350F oven until mixture does not jiggle and is set in center, about 40 minutes
  • Cool to warm
  • Cut out pieces
  • Serve with ice cream, whipped cream or custard,

I think this was the easiest best tasting cobbler ever!! The only thing I did different was to sprinkle Raw natural cane sugar on the top.
