How to make it

  • start off by cooking the pasta at boiling water
  • in small pan add olive oil
  • while pasta is cooking saute shrimp with garlic
  • add salt to shrimp
  • when shrimp is completely cooked set aside
  • drain pasta and add to pan the shrimp is in and cook for 2 minutes while flipping the pasta occasionally.
  • add blackened seasoning and continue flipping for another 2 minutes.
  • sprinkle thyme on top and serve!
  • enjoy

    I loved this. So simple and quick. I think blackened seasoning is Old Bay? Well, even if it isn't, that is what I used and I loved the subtle flavor of it with the rest of the ingredients. I put the garlic in after the shrimp were nearly done so it wouldn't burn. I only tossed the pasta with the shrimp for about a minute before I added the Old Bay. I didn't want my shrimp to get overdone. This isn't fancy but it sure is delicious! I added a picture and a thread in IMI 7/12/14

    Can't go wrong with something this simple! Do you keep the shrimp in the pan when you add the pasta? It says "set aside" but then you add things to the pan the shrimp is in...
