    Shrimp Spaghetti
I worked in my yard all day long today fueled only by a teeny breakfast. I came in exhausted but famished! I already had the shrimp thawed and this was so easy even though I was worn out! I had an open box of linguine so that is what I used. Really simple and quick. Loved it. Made it to spec assuming that blackened seasoning is Old Bay. I'll have the leftovers for breakfast tomorrow. :-)
A tad more on the recipe.

Old Bay does make a blackened seasoning mix. DIY sites show it's a blend of about 9 to 12 seasonings.
For a quarter teaspoon, don't think I'd go through the trouble of blending up a batch 'cause it would just sit in the spice cabinet.

Love the simplicity of this recipe..not loaded with a heavy sauce..you can actually taste the fresh ingredients:)

That is pretty! I too like light pasta dishes like this....I have been trying to stay away from the cream based pastas. Some asparagus on the side would be a perfect meal for us :)

I like the simplicity of it. I think some basil would be nice on it, too. I never eat cream based pasta sauces because it adds too much fat for my taste. I have also noticed lately people adding cream cheese to pasta sauces, which I wouldn't do either. But - to each his own. :)
    This reheats nicely, too!
