How to make it

  • In large zipper bag, combine all ingredients other than goat cheese and lemon zest and shake well to combine.
  • Grill over high heat until just tender and tips are deliciously charred.

I made these on top of the stove, to cold out to grill.I sauted them for about 10 min.in a little water, drained, drizzled with olive oil, sprinkled with sea salt, a sprinkling of paprika, very few red pepper flakes(i'm a wimp)
and the lemon juice. I used lactose free Old Cheddar Cheese(ran out of goat cheese) grated over the asparagus. The cheese melted over the asparagus very nicely, i thought i would have to put them in the oven for the cheese to melt, but there was no need.. Lovely dish, will make it again.

This was delicious! I cut the asparagus into pieces after grilling, and used smoked paprika (grabbed it by mistake). I could have eaten the whole dish by myself - yummy!
