Cherry Cake Recipe

This is a simple and moist cherry coffee cake. Enjoy

Ingredients
- Cream together:
- 1/2 pound margarine
- 1 1/2 sugar
- Add to above mixture one at a time
- 4 eggs
- then add:
- 1 tablespoon of vanilla
- add
- 3 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- dash salt
- In 9 x 13 pan greassed.
- Pour 3/4 of batter into pan.
- Spread onto batter pie filling (you can use any kind of pie filling)
- then you will need
- 1 can cherry pie illing mixed with 1 teaspoon of vanilla or almond extract and set aside
- then top with rest of batter.
Directions
- Bake 40-45 minutes at 350
- If using apple pie filling I would sprinkle on some sugar cinnamon on the cake before baking, and after it comes out when it is cold.

Hi... in the recipe it has 1-1/2 sugar and I am assuming that means 1-1/2 cups right. Just thought I'd point it out. I know how easy it is to omit these things.
