How to make it

  • SAUCE: Cook mushrooms and drain See Photo. Make white sauce in microwave (melt butter; add flour; whisk in milk and cook until thick and bubbly) See Photo. Combine with mushrooms and add wine. See Photo
  • PASTRY SHELLS: Prepare according to package directions. See Photo
  • EGGS: Combine all egg ingredients and scramble until shiny See Photo. Remove from skillet.
  • Just before serving, fill pastry shells with eggs and top with sauce See Photo. Serves 8. See Photo
  • Hint! Sauce can be prepared ahead in microwave, covered with plastic wrap and reheated when needed. Pastry shells can also be made the night before don’t need to be warm. Thus all you would need to do is prepare the eggs fresh then assemble. SERVE IMMEDIATELY!
