Cheesecake, Plain And Simple!

Simple and easy to make! My Sister has been making this for over 30 years! I have been making it for 15 years! My son asks for this cheesecake for his Birthday every year!
Ingredients
- 1 8 oz package of regular cream cheese (Room temperature) shopping list
- 1/2 Cup White sugar shopping list
- 1 egg (room temperature) shopping list
- 1 Tsp vanilla shopping list
- 1 Cup sour cream shopping list
- 1 graham cracker crust (Already made or make your own in a pie plate) shopping list
- chocolate glaze (Optional) shopping list
- 1/3 Cup chocolate Chipits shopping list
- 1 tsp butter or margarine shopping list
- 1-2 Tbsp coffee cream, half and half, whatever you have on hand shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees
- 1. Beat cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla like a (as per my sister) son of a B@#%H!
- 2. Fold or stir in sour cream gently.
- 3. Pour into prepared crust.
- 4. Bake for 25-35 minutes, best to check as oven temps vary. You want it a little jiggly in the middle but not soupy when done!
- Chocolate Glaze
- Mix chipits, butter, cream in a bowl and microwave on med low (6) at 30 second intervals until melted. Stirring after each interval. Stir hard until melted and shiny.
