How to make it

  • In a 1 quart sauce pan, stir cornstarch, sugar & salt together, gradually add boiling water until smooth. Cook & stir constantly over medium heat until mixture boils & thickens, about 10 minutes.
  • Remove from heat. Add butter, lemon zest & fresh lemon juice..stir until smooth.
  • Drizzle over your favorite cake etc:)

    Yep, it’s Elgourmand. For some reason, the server decided that my password is wrong. Strange, as it has worked for the last 5 years. This looks too easy. My wife does the baking so I'll get her to do a sponge cake and this goes on top. Thanks for the post.
