Lemon Sauce

- 2 tablespoons cornstarch shopping list
- 1/2 cup sugar shopping list
- dash salt shopping list
- 1 cup boiling water shopping list
- 2 tablespoons butter shopping list
- Zest of 2 lemons (4 1/2 teaspoons) shopping list
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice shopping list
How to make it
- In a 1 quart sauce pan, stir cornstarch, sugar & salt together, gradually add boiling water until smooth. Cook & stir constantly over medium heat until mixture boils & thickens, about 10 minutes.
- Remove from heat. Add butter, lemon zest & fresh lemon juice..stir until smooth.
- Drizzle over your favorite cake etc:)
