How to make it
- Put onion, ginger, and garlic into blender or food processor and “blitz”;
- Mix the chilli powder, coriander, cumin, salt, garam masala and turmeric together well to form a spice mixture;
- Heat the oil in a large pan/frying pan over a low medium heat;
- Add onion/ginger mixture and green chilli, and, stirring frequently, cook for some 2 to 3 minutes or so until softened a bit;
- Lower the heat, add spice mixture and cook gently, stirring continuously, for some 1½ minutes or so until all well combined;
- Add meat and, stirring continuously, break down and brown slightly for 4 to 5 minutes or so until NO LUMPS;
- Add the yogurt, increase heat to high and, stirring continuously, bring to boil;
- Reduce heat and continue to cook gently, ensuring everything mixed well together;
- Cover and simmer for some 25 minutes or so;
- Check seasoning, then add peas, lemon juice and coriander/mint mixture, reserving some coriander for garnish;
- Add the chopped tomatoes and tomato ketchup, cover the pan again and, stirring occasionally, simmer some 5 to 8 minutes or so until everything fully absorbed;
- Serve, garnished with remaining coriander;
- Goes well with naan, chapattis and/or basmati rice

This is excellent! I made it with ground chicken, and it's superb. I didn't have green chilies so I used a little bit of cayenne and some chili flakes for the heat. Served it over rice, delish!
