Cream Puff Cake

- Shell: shopping list
- 1 cup water shopping list
- 1 stick butter shopping list
- 1 cup flour shopping list
- 4 eggs shopping list
- Topping Mixture: shopping list
- 1 3-ounce package instant vanilla pudding shopping list
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened shopping list
- 2 cups milk shopping list
- 1 large tub of Cool Whip shopping list
- 1 bottle chocolate syrup shopping list
How to make it
- Shell:
- In a saucepan, bring to a boil water and butter.
- Blend in flour.
- Beat in eggs, one at a time, by hand or with a mixer.
- Grease and lightly flour a 9x13-inch pan.
- Pour mixture in pan and spread evenly.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes.
- Poke holes in the cake with the end of a wooden spoon.
- Let cool.
- Topping:
- Cream together the cream cheese with 1/2 cup milk.
- Add the pudding and 1 1/2 cups milk.
- Beat with a mixer or by hand.
- Pour mixture on top of the shell.
- Top with Cool Whip and swirl on chocolate syrup.
- Refrigerate 1 hour to set before serving.

For all of you who have viewed and passed on this you are missing out! Fabulous, I've been making it for years. I don't poke holes in the cake - I leave it lumpy - but that works for us. You really should give this a try.
