Ingredients

How to make it

  • Peel the onions and parboil them to keep them white
  • Plunge in cold water, drain and bake in a preheated 350*F oven for about 1 hour, when ready leave to get cold
  • Remove the outermost layer of skin and cut the onions into slices
  • Arrange in a serving dish, dress with the oil and vinegar
  • Season with salt and pepper

    Wow what a great recipe for sure. I had to sub with red wine vinegar as I did not find my white. Quick and easy to pull together and so good will be making again. Thanks manella.

    I made these for DH as he adores onions. I cooked 2 medium onions and followed the cooking instructions. To make it a little lighter I drizzled a little olive oil and red wine vinegar over the onions. . Great little recipe that DH will be requesting again. Thanks for sharing manella.
