Fried Sweet Potatoes Southern style

Ingredients
- Fresh sweet potatoes, peeled and sliced (uncooked)
- At least 1 stick butter or margarine
- Salt
- Sugar
Directions
- Melt butter or margarine in a large skillet. Add sweet potatoes. Fry potatoes, stirring as necessary. Cover and continue cooking stirring occasionally. When about half done, add ½ to 1 cup sugar and ½ t. salt (for a full skillet).
