How to make it

  • Sift dry ingredients cut in shortening add enough milk to make soft dough with fork.
  • Roll our dough and line cake pan with dough. ( I USE SPRING FORM PAN AND PAT DOUGH IN PAN. IT ALWAYS TURNS OUT WONDERFUL.)
  • Filling:
  • Cream the butter sugar flour cinnamon and lemon juice. Place apples onto the dough. Place filling mixture over top of the apples.
  • Bake 400 for 40 to 50 minutes
  • can use peaches or plums.
  • ENJOY!!
