Ingredients
  • Lord knows how much we made of this stuff quadruple maybe or more? Easy to increase.
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks, drained
  • 1 cup mandarin oranges, drained
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup coconut
  • 1 cup sour cream

Directions
  1. Mix first 4 ingredients. Then fold in sour cream. Some times you need a little more sour cream.
  2. Trust me use sour cream. The coconut is so sweet it mixes well with the sour cream. This is an old version. Tried and true!

We know this as "5 in 1 salad". I just looked this up to see if it was already listed. This is simply delicious-and on a healthier side. We use this for a dessert.

My mom's recipe is much simpler, just lightly chopped orange slices with sweetened coconut. It was served at Christmas dinner as an accompaniment to fruit cake. Yum!
