A great frozen treat for after the game, whatever game. You can prepare beforehand and freeze. If you place your casserole in a pan of water while baking you will not have a dark crust around the outside.

This sounds really good Doug. I like the idea of making it ahead and freezing when I feel like cooking something so when I don't feel like cooking somethingIi can cook this. :)

Is bacon pre cooked, then crumbled?

Nanacarol brought a slip up to the surface. Yes the bacon is fried and crumbled. I'll change that.

Heck, if you don't have it leave it out. Or add some other cheese. Or make it up as you go along. It's not the Constitution, it's just a recipe. Change it as you like. Modify, electrify, dramatize...

This is one of the best recipes I have ever made! The way the bacon makes a crispy top crust it is so delicious! Thank you for sharing with us! =]
