How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 375F. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease.
  • With an electric mixer in a medium bowl, beat together butter and sugar on high speed until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating until incorporated. Add Kahlua; beat until smooth.
  • In a separate bowl, combien flour, salt, bakign soda and cocoa. Add to butter mixture and mix (by hand) to incorporate. Stir in nuts and chocolate chips.
  • Drop about a tablespoonful of dough onto baking sheet, leaving about 2" between cookies to allow spreading.
  • Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until the edgtes are lightly browned. Cool on wire rack.
  • Makes about 36 cookies.

    These are the best! I made a small plate for my neighbors and took the rest to my church class. I'm not much of a cookie person, but these were so good! I used a melon baller and all the cookies were perfectly round and beautiful. I'm making more today to take to a couple of 4th of July parties! Thanks so much!
