How to make it

  • Mix garlic & celery salt, mustard, paprika and Mrs Dash Seasoning.
  • Rub on all sides of pork roast
  • Pour oil into deep stock pot
  • Heat oil on Medium High
  • Brown pork, turning to brown all sides
  • Slice onions and add to pot
  • Stir onions to coat
  • Pour in ginger ale
  • Turn heat to medium
  • Simmer for approximately 2.5 hours or until pork falls off bone
  • Drain most of the liquid reserving about a cup in the pot
  • Shred pork using 2 forks
  • Add BBQ sauce
  • Season with black pepper and add additional salt if needed
  • Cook for 20 mins
  • Serve on rolls
