I had no idea cabbage could be this good. It's so good it will overshadow all but your favorite dishes. When you're too full to eat more, you will want to use it as shampoo. It's that good. It's so easy, it's like...like...it's like CHEATING!

Sounds like an easy simple recipe. I love cabbage, and I have a sauerkraut soup that has sour cream in it - so I don't doubt that your cabbage is delicious! Thanks for sharing. - Natalie

Hey could you add some more details to this? You can have pretty massive or small bits of cabbage in a pot that will lie flat.
When I got to step 5 I had a pile of steaming cabbage broth on a platter with some sour cream sitting in a ladle ready to go. The next step tells you to dribble the cabbage into the sour cream which I guessed was around the wrong way. After that the recipie says to glop the sauce over the cabbage... WTF? What sauce?
Ended up tasting alright but not INSANE, maybe with a little editing everyone can taste the insane too.

Hmmmm. Well, I said "Quarters". That would be...4 pieces, cut so there's core in each to hold it together. Quartered. One chop=halved. Then halve the halves=Quartered. Is there a better way to say this?
Gravy Ladle. I must be using the wrong word? Gravy boat? Gravy pot? Gravy serving dish? Gravy container? Something in which to hold the gravy. What's the right word?

I haven't tried this yet, but after reading it and reading satanenterprises comment I'm sure I would agree with her, there has to be a better way to explain this, it is just too haphazard

Ah. Well, then please feel free to suggest how?

I knew what you meant and had a blast reading the recipe. I was laughing all the way through! I usually don't like cooked cabbage; I'm a cole slaw or sauerkraut type person mostly. Maybe this will get me to try cooked cabbage again.

Thank you, I was wondering if I should completely rework this recipe! Now pardon me while I go tiptoeing through YOUR recipes for cole slaw, got two heads in the fridge and one is singing the Vinegar and Sugar song!

I like the recipe as stated! and I agree that this is one of the most fun recipes I have read - I laughed reading it too! This sounds like a Pollock dish! Have a great week!
