No Labor Picnic Pork Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 pounds well-trimmed boneless pork loin, cut into 2 or 3 pieces
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 3/4 cup Coca-Cola®
  • 3/4 cup your favorite Barbeque sauce (there's gotta be one on this site you love!!!!)
  • Sides:
  • Kaiser rolls
  • Baked Beans
  • Coleslaw
  • Pickles
  • Chips

Directions
  1. In a 4-quart or large slow cooker, combine the pork loin, onion, soda, and barbeque sauce.
  2. Cook, covered for 7-8 hours on low or 5-6 hours on high.
  3. Remove pork and shred with 2 forks.
  4. Served on sliced kaiser rolls with a drizzle or two of the sauce from the slow cooker.
  5. Happy Labor Day!!!
