These are great potatoes.. They go with most any type of meat...Very flavorful..

Ingredients
- 2 pounds frozen hash brown potatoes
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 small carton sour cream
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 small jar cheese whiz
- 2 cups crushed corn flakes
Directions
- Defrost potatoes.
- Combine 1/2 cup butter, salt, pepper, onion, soup, sour cream, and cheese.
- Mix thoroughly.
- Pour over potatoes in a 3 quart baking dish.
- Mix 1/4 cup butter and cornflakes; sprinkle on top.
- Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
- Cream of celery soup may be used for the chicken soup and 2 cups grated cheese may be used instead of cheese whiz...

I make something similar - this is such a perfect "party" or "crowd" dish...good flavors and easy to put together - you can't go wrong with this dish!
