Caramel Hazelnut Torte

- 185g unsalted butter shopping list
- 2 tsp grated orange rind shopping list
- 3/4 c brown sugar, firmly packed shopping list
- 6 eggs, seperated shopping list
- 185g dark chocolate melted shopping list
- 11/2 c ground hazelnuts shopping list
- 300ml thickened cream shopping list
- white chocolate cream: shopping list
- 1/3 c cream shopping list
- 200g white chocolate, chopped shopping list
How to make it
- grease and line a springform tin with grease proof paper
- combine butter, rind and sugar, and beat until light and creamy, beat in egg yolks until just combined
- stir in cooled chocolate and hazelnuts.
- beat egg whites until they form soft peaks, lightly fold half into mix, then the other half.
- spread evenly into pan, and bake 20 mins in mod oven, reduce heat to low and bake a furthe 40 mins or until firm, cool then place onto a large serving plate.
- spread white chocolate cream over cake.
- White chocolate cream:
- place cream into a small pan, and bring to the boil, remove from heat and add chocolate..stirring until smooth, cool and refridgerate for 30mins or until thick.
- garnish with your imagination!
