Cheddar Cheese Bread Recipe

This is a delicious bread which has a cheesy flavor and the recipe produces a crunchy crust.

Ingredients
- 1 cup water - lukewarm
- 1 Tbsp margarine or butter
- 1 Tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 cups bread flour
- 2 1/2 tsp yeast
- 3/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
Directions
- Place ingredients in the order dictated by your bread machines instructions.
- After the first kneading, which is usually indicated by a beep with most machines, add the shredded Cheddar cheese
- This recipe makes a 1 1/2 pound loaf of bread.

After several tries with cheese being added into bread using my bread machine... I found that if you're looking to "see" the cheese... I've used a small crumble instead of the shred. Also... for something different... I've added small pieces or shredded pepperoni... it makes a great dipping bread to go along with pasta
