Not Yo Mamas Banana Pudding Recipe

Not Yo Mamas Banana Pudding Recipe
This is a recipe of Paula Deens, from The Lady & Sons restraurant here in Savannah. It's incredible, I'm not a fan of Banana Pudding but this one certainly won me over. A MUST to try.

Paula Deen makes this? I have been making one similar, minus the cheesemen cookies and add vanilla wafers, for years. I have always called it Banana Pudding with a Twist. I make it a lot, my family loves it. But I know I didn't get it from Paula Deen. I just found out who she is just a few weeks ago. hahahaha

Anything Paula Deen makes I know I will like! This sounds devine! Yummmm Double yummmmmm

Just checked to see if I had the ingredients, I have everything except those cookies, but I have Vanilla Cookies, that'll do... by for now... going to make this for hubby right now!!

Hey be sure to try this with the chessman cookies ya'll, it makes it really pretty, and I think gives it a better flavor. The chessman cookies don't tend to get mushy as quickly and I don't think they make it as sweet as the vanilla wafers. I'm impressed with this cookie in the recipe. I made this one also for everyone in Recovery when I was working at the hospital and they all oh'd and ah'd over how pretty it looked and how good it was. So ya'll enjoy, but do try it at least once with these other cookies :)

I wish I had those chessman cookies, will use them next time.. just finished making this pudding and boy does it make allot! WOW, it tastes soooooooo good, hubby will love it, I know!!! I'm a fan of condensed milk, love it and it sure makes a difference.. love it, got my 5... yummmm

This sounds TOO good to be true! I was never a great fan of vanilla wafers. Thank so much for the post! Cannot wait to make this!

Thanks Shirley, appreciate that, I know what you mean about condensed milk, seems everything is really super good if it has that in it LOL

I have made this and it is so yummy

I have made this for years now -- thanks to Paula Deen....everytime I make it everyone oooohhhh and aaaahhhhhh's over it and then they taste it and want the recipe. Great great recipe....my favorite hands down.

This banana pudding is fantastic! I saw it on Paula's Home Cooking about a year ago and tried it. I haven't made the traditional cooked custard banana pudding since. At my last dinner party,a couple of family members fought over it. :)

What a coinkydink! I just ran across this after posting that comment to you on the other banana pudding recipe! Henrie, I have gained 20 pounds just zipping thru the list of your recipes! Ha!

This is really delicious! :) A guy at work just brought it to work the other day---it was awesome! :)
