Your strawberry tiramisu recipe sounds wonderful. I have a question. I have not seen mascarpone cheese in the dairy isle at my market, where can I find it?

It looks delicious but... I think ladyfingers contain egg so it isn't really eggfree.
annieamie 1 year, 1 month ago said:
This recipe wasn't created as an eggless recipe. Feel free to use your favorite egg-free cookie or biscuit instead of the ladyfingers.

MMMMMM I first saw the picture of this dessert and had to track the recipe. OH MY, one can almost taste it through the pic. You are a girl after my own heart. I check out desserts everywhere looking for scrumptious ones like your Strawberry Tiramisu. I CANNOT wait to make this one. Thank you.

Annieamie: I am making this tonight!! I have 2 questions. Regular Tiramisu soaks the lady fingers in coffee, will the rum soak thru enough to make them moist? and I could not find Strawberry liquor only Strawberry Vodka what brand do you use? I will use the rum but am still on a mission to find the liquor. Also is there a Rich and Creamy Cool Whip I only found the regular one. I want to make this exactly as your picture. Thanks again.

You're very welcome. I wrote to you under the mail section of grouprecipes.com. Thank you for trying my recipe and I hope you enjoyed it. Its just a lovely dessert and I'm always happy when someone writes to me about it. (Its so good!)

I just finished making this and it looks pretty good. I can't wait to bring it to the picnic tomorrow to see how people like it. I did have to get more strawberries and make more cream filling to make sure the layers were thick enough to cover the lady fingers.

That picture is not the real cake

Great recpie but but not real picture of real cake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I make my tiramisu in either a 13x9 pan or a large loaf pan. When you take the time to decorate the finished tiramisu with either the whipped cream or Cool Whip, your finished tiramisu will come out looking as nicely as it does in the picture above. I hope that you enjoy the recipe Joe and thank you for your comment.

Awesome recipe Annie!!!!! Made this Friday afternoon and had it last night! I think I found the last of the fresh strawberries and just had to make it. I don't know why joes recipe didn't come out right but mine looked better than the pic! Good stuff, good stuff, good stuff! ( I hope you don't mind but I'm gonna copy this for the girls at the office!)

Made it, ate it, loved it! I have no idea what joedaddy is talking about. Mine came out like the one in the photograph. This is so good. Hey, tried it with pineapple layers instead of berries! Came out terrific! Love your cooking!

Sorry about the last two comments my kids got on here and were goofing around.
I do have to tell you. I won first prize with your recipe last Saturday at my company picnic! I found your recipe Friday night and made it that night. Saturday at the picnic there were about 20 desserts and I won First Place! I received a Ipod Shuffle and $25 gift certificate to Red Lobster. You are an awesome baker! Thanks so much!
