Black Berry Pie Recipe

Ingredients

1/2cp butter

1cp sugar

1cp self rising flour

1/2cp milk

4cp fresh black berries

1cp warm water1cp sugar

Directions

preheat oven 350

plce 9x13 dish in oven with 1/2 cp butter to melt

mix 1cp sugar, flour&milk

beat till smooth and creamy

pour batter over melted butter

do not mix

combine water and 1cp sugar

stir till sugar dissolves

place balckberries ontop of batter

pour water and sugar mixture over all

again do not stir

bake 45min or until golden brown

Well, I told you several days ago that I was going to make the black berry pie and I was actually baking this lovely recipe about 1 hour later. It has now just occurred to me that I have not told you just how wonderful my family and I think the recipe is! Well. . .it is a definite WoW! I wasn't expecting the end result that I actually received and the flavor was perfect. The only thing I had a problem with was a need to add 10 more minutes to the baking time. Mine was too soupy after 45 minutes. Thank you for the post :D

I made this for my father-in-laws birthday. I used frozen mixed berries and thawed them. I also made a mistake and used 1 cup of milk but everything turned out just fine. I did bake it about an hour and everyone loved it. Thanks for a great recipes.
