ALL AMERICAN KALBI
Kalbi is thin sliced beef short ribs as favored by Koreans. This recipe uses an allAmerican marinade for this Korean favorite. It can also be done on an indoor grill, like a George Foreman.

Okay, I'm back. I'm thinking of doing this tomorrow on my outdoor grill. We're having straight-line winds today of about 25-30 mph and gusts up to 35-40 mph. I think there will be no outdoor grilling today for me. Could I marinate this overnight or would that be too long? Thanks in advance...I really love Korean foods and flavors, too.

Can it be made with pork tenderloin ?

I think this can be made with pork too. The pork tenderloin would be sliced thicker than the short ribs, so I would marinate it longer, perhaps 8-10 hours. Also, I would add a little fruit flavoring, perhaps a 1/2 c. of apple cider.
