How to make it

  • Place all the ingredients, except wings, in a wok.
  • Cook over medium heat until sugar is dissolved.
  • Add wings.
  • Cover and continue to cook, stirring about evey 10 minutes, until the cooking liquid completely coats wings.
  • Cooking time varies, although expect it to cook at least an hour to get the stickiness factor.
  • Be careful not to over cook, however.
  • Depending on your wok and heating temperature, your wings might get done sooner. Mine took an hour.
