Ingredients

How to make it

  • arrange tomato slices on a plate with no overlaps
  • sprinkle (I use a spray bottle!) with balsamic vinegar until each slice is covered (don't overdo it, but cover the surface)
  • sprinkle with garlic pepper, and SMALL amt. of salt
  • turn slices over, repeat the vinegar application
  • layer approximately 1/2 tsp. of garlic and juice for each slice.and fresh basil ribbons, or dried basil, crumbled. You can adjust the amounts to your own taste, of course.
  • cover plate and refrigerate at least an hour.
  • Serve with whatever and prepare to lick your lips!
