How to make it

  • Place crust in a lightly greased pie pan, create a pretty fluted edge
  • Whisk the other ingredients together in a bowl and pour into the pie shell
  • Bake at 325 for 45 minutes
  • When cooled to room temperature sprinkle on the confectioner's sugar as a garnish
  • This can be served at room temperature or chilled

    Sunny - you are correct. This pie gives that same intense lemon flavor and smooth custard texture. Sprinkle a little confectioner's sugar on just before serving and it will be beautiful and delicious... and shamelessly easy.
