IMPRESSIVE, but EASY! This is a fabulous chocolate tart or pie! Your choice. Whipped cream and Kahlua covers the chocolate filling. Oh, it is heavenly!

Ingredients
  • CHOCOLATE WAFER CRUST
  • 1-1/2 cups chocolate wafers
  • 6 tablespoons sweet butter melted
  • CHOCOLATE FILLING
  • 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate
  • 1/2 cup whipping cream
  • 1 stick sweet unsalted butter
  • pinch of salt
  • WHIPPED CREAM TOPPING
  • 1/2 pint whipping cream
  • 3 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • A little Kahlua

Directions
  1. CHOCOLATE WAFER CRUST DIRECTIONS
  2. Crush wafers in food processer OR
  3. Place in plastic zip lock bag, close, and roll with rolling pin
  4. Combine crumbs with melted butter
  5. Press in a 9 inch tart pan OR 9 inch pie plate
  6. Bake 300 degrees for 15 minutes
  7. Cool
  8. CHOCOLATE FILLING DIRECTIONS
  9. Combine chocolate, whipping cream, butter
  10. Heat, stirring until smooth
  11. Remove from heat
  12. Cool 30 minutes at room temperature
  13. Pour into cooled crust
  14. Refrigerate for 3 hours
  15. WHIPPED CREAM TOPPING DIRECTIONS
  16. Beat cream until it looks like pudding
  17. Add powdered sugar
  18. Add Kahlua
  19. Beat until it stands in peaks
  20. Top refrigerated tart or pie with this, shortly before serving
  21. THIS IS THE ONE FOR CHOCOLATE LOVERS!
