These muffins are heavy and hearty with a mouthful of yummy flavour and texture. They make a great breakfast just by themselves.

1 cup Whole wheat pastry flour + 1 1/2 cup unbleached white flour. Also olive oil instead of vegetable oil, and honey in replace of sugar. Usually 1/3 cup is enough to make your baking goods sweet. Especially since you have all the natural sweetness in there already, with the fruits.

I've been looking for a muffin recipe that is nutritious and filling as an after school snack or for breakfast for my 3 hungry teens. This really looks like it could fit the bill. Thanks!

You're very welcome and they should do the trick for those 3 hungry teens of yours. Well, along with a huge glass of milk. You're very welcome
