How to make it

  • Crust:
  • Using a food processor, chop walnuts and graham crackers until they are finely chopped. Pour into a medium sized cake pan. Add butter, and mix thouroughly. Press into bottom of pan. Cool completely. (for faster cooling, refrigerate)
  • Fudge:
  • Combine sugar, butter, condensed milk, marshmallow fluff and salt in medium sized pan. Stir over low heat until blended.
  • Bring to a boil over moderate heat, eing careful not to mistake air bubbles for boiling. Then boil slowly, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes. (to softball stage)
  • Remove from heat. Stir in chocolate chips and vanilla, until chocolate is melted.
  • Remove cake pan from refrigerator, and pour fudge into cake pan, spreading over crust.
  • Cool completely, until fudge is set.
  • Topping:
  • When fudge layer is set and cooled, spread caramel topping over top of fudge.
  • Sprinkle desired amount of walnut pieces over caramel topping and serve.
