A slightly sweet, mostly savory cheese spread incorporating nuts and dried fruit.

Ingredients
  • 2 c grated sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 c finely chopped, toasted and skinned hazelnuts
  • 1/2 c finely diced dried fruit (apples, apricots, raisins, pears, cherries)
  • 1/2 c nonalcoholic cider

Directions
  1. In a bowl, blend all ingredients together well.
  2. Refrigerate for up to one week, but serve at room temperature.
