How to make it

  • Bring sugar, peanut butter, corn syrup and maple flavoring to boil-- boil a couple minutes. Gradually add the cereal to the melted mixture.
  • Spread out in a 9X13 pan.
  • Prepare topping. Melt butterscotch chips, chocloate chips and flavorings together and spread over the cereal mixture in pan. Let cool, cut and serve.
  • You can vary ingredients in order to create a very gooey bar cookie and if you prefer-- you may refridgererate the cookies.
  • Super easy recipe, kids love them!

    Aren't these the best? Has to be a Mid-western treat! My husband makes these all the time, I know I could, but he does it so much better. They just taste better when someone else does them.

    Personally, I love Special K and think this would be better than the rice krsipie stuff. I'll make it for the Halloween potluck.
