Quick Almond Pilaf Recipe
This is a super quick tasty pilaf.

Ingredients
  • 3/4 cup chopped onion - I like green
  • 1/2 cup slivered almonds
  • 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups uncooked instant rice

Directions
  1. In a saucepan, saute onion and almonds in butter until the onions are tender and the almonds lightly brown. Add broth and bring to a boil. Stir in rice, cover and remove from heat. Let stand for 7 or 8 minutes till all the liquid is gone. Fluff and serve = )
