Peanut Butter Frosting Recipe
Peanut Butter cupcake frosting. It's not too sweet as some frostings can be. It is full of peanut buttery goodness. I made 30 chocolate cupcakes and licked the frosting off of 2-3. I recommend a heavier cake for this, the frosting is substantial.

Ingredients
  • 3/4 c. Natural Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 1-1 1/2 c. Confectioner's Sugar
  • 1/4 c. Butter (room temp) (I had salted on hand, thus the need for more than 1 cup sugar)
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla
  • 2 Tbls Soy Creamer (Use half&half or heavy cream if you wish)

Directions
  1. Combine butter, peanut butter and vanilla. I used a whisk, if you have a mixer, use it!.
  2. Add sugar about a 1/4 cup at a time, only so you can taste test for your desired sweetness.
  3. Once well blended, add your creamer until the frosting reaches a nice fluffy smooth, not too gloppy consistency.
  4. Frost your cupcakes nice and tall!

This sounds good. I've been looking for a good peanut butter icing recipe that used more than a few spoonfuls of peanut butter. Thanks.


This is a good frosting. To make it creamier i added cool whip worked great.


I will use this Peanut Butter Frosting Recipe on a double chocolate cup cake recipe it will please a lot of Reece's peanut butter fans.

Try adding cool whip once everything else is blended i tried this and it made it nice and creamy.
