Ingredients

How to make it

  • Spread each of 4 bread slices with 1 tsp. peanut butter.
  • Spread remaining bread slices with 1 tsp.jelly.
  • Place jelly side down on top of slices with peanut butter.
  • Cut each sandwich in half diagonally
  • Stir together eggs and next three ingredients in a shallow dish
  • Melt butter in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat.
  • Dip sandwiches into egg mixture, evenly coating both sides.
  • Cook sandwich halves, in batches, 2 1/2 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
  • Yield : 4 servings

    Yummy...I've grilled pb&j sands. with just butter before, like a grilled cheese - but this sounds even better! Great post, Cheri!
