My friend who is a track coach gave me this recipe. It has less sugar then the real Gatorade and is less expensive.
Ingredients
- 2 quarts of water shopping list
- 10 tbsp. sugar shopping list
- 2/3 tsp. salt shopping list
- 1 pkg unsweetended koolaid shopping list
How to make it
- Mix all together in a large pitcher and serve.

Too cool! I love my Powerade, and this would definitely be a much less expensive alternative. Thanks for sharing. Some of the gals at work here buy electrolyte powder from the health-food stores and add it to their water, so I suppose you could do...more
