My friend who is a track coach gave me this recipe. It has less sugar then the real Gatorade and is less expensive.

Too cool! I love my Powerade, and this would definitely be a much less expensive alternative. Thanks for sharing. Some of the gals at work here buy electrolyte powder from the health-food stores and add it to their water, so I suppose you could do that to this as well if you still want the electrolytes but wanted to use a sugar substitute (like Splenda). - Natalie
